Too many companies around here are one or the other — overpriced or impossible to count on. JB Construction exists to be the middle ground that shouldn't be so hard to find.

Our mission is to build a construction company people trust. We do that through integrity, transparency, and reliability. No inflated quotes, no disappearing crews, no surprises on the final bill. Just honest work from people who actually care about getting it right. With 10+ years of remodeling experience and countless homes improved across Kentucky, we've built a reputation for showing up, doing the job the way it should be done, and treating every home like it's our own.

Meet The Team

JB Construction & Remodeling is a family business built by Douglas, Johnatan, and Hector Barrera. What started as a passion for building and fixing things turned into a full-service remodeling company serving Central Kentucky.

Before starting JB Construction, the Barrera brothers spent years working in the trades — learning framing, roofing, siding, concrete, and finish work from the ground up. They saw firsthand how many contractors cut corners, padded quotes, or simply didn't show up. They knew they could do better.

That's the gap JB Construction was built to fill. With over 10 years of combined experience, they built a team around the values they wanted to be known for: meticulous planning, transparent pricing, and work you can count on. They don't cut corners, they don't pad quotes, and they don't disappear when the job gets complicated.

Central Kentucky is home. The Barrera family lives and works in Georgetown, and they take pride in improving the homes and neighborhoods around them.
